Professor Bertil Romner passed away on August 12th at the age of 59. He was a founding member of the SNC and an exceptional neurosurgeon, teacher, researcher and friend. Bertil was a great source of inspiration, creativity and enthusiasm to all who knew and worked with him. He made invaluable contributions to the SNC and was instrumental in the committee’s efforts to improve neurotrauma care in the Nordic countries. Bertil will be truly missed.
